The most magical night of our lives is upon us. Yes, that’s right— Prom is here! It will take place next Saturday, April 28th, at the Falls Event Center in Fresno. The dance will be held from 8pm to 11pm, and students must arrive by 9pm to be admitted. As far as eligibility goes, it is required that students have a minimum of a 2.3 GPA and no more than one F. Grades will be checked at the door.
Leadership member and senior, Kyra Reed, was able to answer some questions about Prom for more insight regarding the venue, refreshments, expectations, and theme.
“We chose this new venue because we paid to use it last year, but couldn’t get the date we had wanted, so we’re excited to be able to use it this year.” Kyra explained.
A lot of students were curious as to why there is no theme for Prom this year, but Leadership clarified that the theme is essentially based off the decorations in the venue. It will mostly revolve around nature, creating an outdoorsy and elegant feel. In addition, food and beverages will be provided at the dance, thanks to the donations received. Overall, it is expected to be an enchanting and fun-filled night.
Be sure to get your tickets in the Media Lounge. Prices will increase next week (April 23rd-27th) to $70 each. At the door, tickets will be $100 each.
