Mustang Pride would be nothing without the exceptional leadership students at Minarets High School. With the new leadership crew selected for the 2018/2019 school year, students and staff took their annual trip to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo.
According to Mr. Regonini, the leadership teacher, the purpose of the trip is for “new leadership students to interact with the veteran leadership kids in a team bonding experience. The goal is to foster interaction between new and current leadership students while also establishing the goals and plans for leadership next year”
The day was filled with both small and large group activities, including a zoo scavenger hunt, discussion of expectations for next year, designing the shirts for next year, brainstorming themes for dances, and, of course, welcoming new students while loving the returning students.
By the end of the day, the new leadership class for next year left the Fresno Chaffee Zoo having bonded as a class.
