Go Mustangs! Another year completed and a much needed Summer Vacation on the way. Those who've attended Minarets for a long period of time will know that we are far from the average high school. We’re regularly challenged with assignments that affect all classes such as the PBEs and FFA events.

So what’s happening within our first month back? What events during our return next year should we be keeping an eye out for?

Apart from the usual start-of-the-year rallies and activities, juniors should keep keep an eye out for standardized testing within the months coming back. Seniors should get to work on their SLE’s as soon as possible to avoid any last minute planning. Finally freshmen and sophomores will be generally fine within the first few months back.

Keep an eye out for these events and testings if you weren’t already aware. It’s important to keep an eye out throughout the school year, as someone who enrolled during the second semester of my sophomore year I had to scrap together huge projects I didn’t know existed until a week before it was due.
