Where's Maverick?

Every school has a mascot and Minarets is no different. To anyone who doesn’t know, Maverick is our spirit-filled mascot that represents our school. He has been an integral part of the Minarets culture and could be seen at rallies, sporting events, and much more. He filled our gymnasium and our hearts with school-spirit and pride. That was until he disappeared.

Maverick was last seen on September 21, 2017 during the Fall Rally before the big YHS football game; after participating in a lip sync battle with leadership students against the staff, he pumped the student body and football for the game against Yosemite.

Maverick has not been seen since and we have all been worried sick about him. According to Minarets Leadership teacher Ben Regonini, "there have been no leads." He could be anywhere because Maverick sure loves exploring. He could be sailing across the sea, or hiding in Nevada.

Nobody really knows where he is

So if you have any idea where to find him please contact Minarets Leadership.
