During this season of giving, teacher Ben Regonini hosted his community day activity which involved wrapping donated gifts and making fleece tie blankets to donate to Valley Children’s Hospital. The room was in a flurry of laughing and excitement of the upcoming winter break.

Everywhere you look you could see smiles and the very eye catching Christmas sweaters. Sophomore Benjamin Esau couldn’t contain his excitement and in this season had a merry spirit about him. He had this to say about community, “I wanted to help the community by wrapping presents for kids at Valley Children's Hospital and is it better than school work too.”

Sophomore Thomas Stockton loving the whole idea of community day saying, “It’s a time to relax a bit and if you have the same class with friends you can just talk to them.”

As the present were wrapped and the little elves of 601 worked away, teacher Regonini sat with contentment. Excited to share his reasons to tie blankets and wrap presents, teacher Regonini expressed “We promote this idea of giving and giving focus on families and other that need help. It is a way to give the holiday spirit to babies and kids that aren’t as fortunate."

The day was one of merriment and once again the Mustangs stood high as they gave back to the people.
