Minarets is having the Sadie’s dance very soon and the theme is Welcome to the Jungle! It is on February 8th, 2019 from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm at the Minarets Gym. You will need a minimum required 2.3 GPA and the dance is located in the gym. The ticket prices are $40 and $50 at the door.
Senior Novena Valentine described how Minarets Leadership goes about planning such a big event like Sadies: “We try to think of things that we've already done, what is popular, and what our peers might want most. But we also consider things like practicality, time of year and preparation time. Then teams are formed to make sure that every detail is covered such as decoration, food, and promotion. And then there is a dance.”
Everyone is starting to excited for the big night as Sadie Proposal have been occurring throughout campus. Sophomore Priya Cheema described her excitement,“I really like the theme, it is something different and easy for everyone to enjoy!"
