Friday Night Lights: Homecoming Dance

Updated: Sep 27, 2020

By Eve Romano and Eden Trenty

To conclude this year's Homecoming week, Minarets Leadership put on the Friday Night Lights, a black light dance following the victorious football game. Leadership chose this theme after throwing idea after idea out on the table until this one amazing idea stuck, according to senior Leadership student, Reiley Stenberg.

Overall the response was very positive to the dance. According to senior Luna Moreno,"I think this dance is fantastic! They've never had a blacklight dance before!" Students enjoyed how colorful the dance was and the opportunity to hangout with their friends. "I think it is very glowy and fantasticular! I think they pulled it off very well, it is glowy and cool," explained senior Savannah Stout.

Thanks to all of the people that came out and had fun! Special thank you to Minarets Leadership for putting on another awesome dance!
