Homecoming Rally 2019!

Updated: Sep 27, 2020

This past week at Minarets was no ordinary week as it was homecoming week for students here at Minarets! Students dressed up all throughout the week to show school spirit and on Friday, Sept. 20, attended the Homecoming rally to wrap up the week and get ready for the Homecoming Game that night.

The homecoming rally was a blast and a success where students were full of school spirit. It included the premiere of the fall sports videos for cheer, volleyball, and football as well as updates for all sports. To get everyone in the spirit, the football boys of each grade level did cheer performances for the school. It was quite a sight for the students and staff in attendance.

Then, of course, students participated in a classic Minarets game of Kunjabi Can Can, a favorite of students and staff at Minarets. Rylee Mackey, a senior student at Minarets and yearbook photographer, explained that she could not stop laughing the whole time."

The rally ended with the announcement of the trip location for Minarets Abroad 2021, which will be Italy and Greece, and with a brief Ching Talk where exemplary students were recognized for their work.

After such an eventful and fun homecoming week, unfortunately, it had come to an end but there was no better way to end it than with the homecoming rally!
