Minarets is Out of this World

Updated: Sep 27, 2020

by Morgan Sumner

The outfits at Minarets High School today were out of this world! Literally. Students from all grades dressed up as mythical, majestic, or extraterrestrial creatures while showing their school spirit. Some were wearing tin foil hats while others others were wearing metallic fabrics representing space figures. There were students dressed up as unicorns, like senior Ruth Biedermann and junior Anthony Hernandez, and others dressed up as aliens, like senior Rylee Mackey and junior Cait Flanagan. When asked why they dressed up for Out of this World Wednesday, juniors Alice Cummings and Claire Corippo explained that "Derby Week is the most fun week out of the year!"
