It has only been a few months since students have returned to school, and all of the seniors are making the most of their last year. However, none of them have been as involved in their last year as Jonah Ewalt. He is in this year's fall drama musical, “Frozen Jr.,” Showband, Minarets Leadership, and the Link Crew team. He is doing it all.

However, this list doesn't stop for his senior year, Ewalt has been a part of many things through his time at Minarets. In his junior year he was part of the drama audio play, “It’s A Wonderful Life.” He has also been a part of many sports teams throughout his years in high school. Because he has been involved in so much, he has quite a few achievements under his belt.

Ewalt states,"Some achievements I have accomplished at Minarets are getting chosen to be a part of the Minarets Leadership and Link Crew team, and most recently winning male upper class Mustang Royalty."

Ewalt was born Aug. 14, 2003 in Joplin, Missouri and moved to Fresno when he was young. Throughout most of his life, he was homeschooled, until he found out about Minarets High School.

"I found out about Minarets through a friend who is Taylor Manning. Being my first public school, she really did help me feel more comfortable when first arriving, which is one reason why I stayed at the school and didn't leave," Ewalt says.

After he came to Minarets, he ended up liking the Minarets community as a whole.

According to Ewalt,"The atmosphere of Minarets is positive, outstanding, and unique. There's nothing like Minarets, and you can't get better than what it is. So many amazing people here, and of course the weirdest kids, which is what makes this school the best school. Someone told me that Minarets is where all the weird kids go, but that's what makes Minarets what it is. Being weird is being yourself and who God created you to be. Not only students, but teachers here are outstanding. They are there for you and don't just care about their paycheck, but also for the success of their students.”

In the end, Ewalt has seen and done a lot at Minarets, and he, along with every other senior, will always be a part of the school's history.
