Minarets’ cross country team has been hard at work lately. They have been training and prepping for upcoming meets. So far, they have had a great start of the season according to coach Wilson. Last week the varsity boys team participated and finished their first 5K race of the season at Woodward Park. Now the team is working harder to get conditioned for more 5K races, which are 3 miles long. The more used and conditioned they are for the 5K will help them every race. In the mornings they are starting to sell breakfast to help fundraise for their gear. Head on over and help out your cross country runners!
