This past Friday night was an emotional senior night for the football, cheer, and equestrian team here at Minarets High School. We started the night off with the football team, where we had 16 seniors, then the equestrian team, which had 3 seniors, and the cheer squad, which also had 3 seniors.

The football team came out very strong, and by halftime the score was 12-13. Minarets was only down by one point. The team came out in the second half hungry for the big win on senior night. It was a tough fought game and by the fourth quarter the mustangs were down by 6 points. The Mustangs got a big stop on defense and got the ball back with just a minute left on the clock. They were marching down the field, when Jacob Cullen threw a deep pass to Preston Conti, which was caught, fumbled and recovered by Fowler, causing the Mustangs to lose the game.
