Baseball season is in full swing and the Minarets Baseball team has hit the ground running. The players have been working hard and practicing throughout the year with Fall Ball and winter practices.
The team is three games into the season and Mustangs are currently at 3-0. On February 22, the boys secured their first victory during the first game of the season against McLane High School with the final score being 15 to 6. Their success continued on to Mariposa High School on February 24th, where the game went into extra innings and Mustangs won 4 to 3.
Minarets Baseball faced off against their rival, Yosemite High School, on Wednesday, February 28. Despite the cold temperatures, students and the community came out and supported the boys as they hit their way into victory. The final score was 8 to 3 with Minarets taking the win.
The next game was scheduled for this Saturday, but was postponed due to the rain. Stay up to date by liking Minarets High School Baseball on Facebook! See you at the ballpark soon!
