The first victory of the football season occurred on September 14 when Varsity had a win against the Tranquility Tigers with the score 60-7. Senior Alex Sexton said ”I was very excited because it was the first win of the season and overall the best attitude we had in the past 4 years of being a football player.” Last Friday, our Mustangs traveled to Fowler where the Fowler Redcats won with a score of 51-29.

Tomorrow, we will be playing against Orange Cove and senior Zac DeBoer said that ”they're gonna be tough but I think we stand a pretty good chance.There's a lot of stuff that we know we should be doing and as long as we do it right, I think we got this.” This game will be especially intense as we will both be featured on ABC 30's Game of the Week feature.
