We are proud to cheer on the Minarets girls basketball team. All the effort and hard work was evident at the girls first scrimmage game against Liberty on Wednesday, November 14th.Freshmen girls like Keona Davis and Chloe Welfield tackled the game, not shy to steal the ball and run to score. The learning experience has helped conclude that this year will be a winner. The ladies are aggressive in defense, working together like mustangs do.

During the Varsity game, Senior players such as Breanna Saenz and Sierra Stalter have taken lead. With skill and level-heads, our seniors not only have experience but have the eye to find openings to shoot. Already, the girls have had 2 games and scrimmages playing through frustration and continuing to work as a team. The season has just begun come to cheer on our girls!!
