Soccer Returns from Tournament

Updated: May 21, 2020

The boys Soccer team is ready for the next league game after a strong performance at the Varsity Soccer tournament in Lemoore. The boys took on many teams including El Diamante, Chowchilla, and Sierra Pacific. The boys going into the tournament had many goals that they did, in fact, achieve. Freshman Jacob Wheeler Guy, for instance, stated, “I expect the team to make smart passes and not get so clumped up like we have in the past" which was a present throughout each game.

Even though the team did come away with a few injuries and lost every game, the team grew has as a whole together. They were able to work on things that they needed in this tournament, including defense as well as team bonding, so it was a success in many aspects. In the end, the team was able to come together and work on things that will be crucial to the success of the team in the future.
