Track is Off and Running

Writer: Americus HawkinsAmericus Hawkins

When spring comes out so do our runners! Last Wednesday Minarets High School competed against Fowler High School in a track competition. Our track team did not have many practices before the meet but still gave it their all and ran like the wind. We asked sophomore Audra Stevenson how well she thought her team did and this is what she had to say. “We did really well for only having 2 practices”. Stevenson placed third in the 100 second heat and placed an overall 7/11. Sophomore, Alice Cummings, placed second in the second heat.
