The 'Stang fest is an annual event to showcase our contemporary cutting edge music courses which are singer-songwriter rock music performance show band and sound lighting engineering and design. The 'Stang Fest originated and started the idea from Bill Samisen, the original music director, along with his rock classes. This year music teacher Brett Moglia is in charge of the event.

Moglia explained, “This is an annual event from second or third year that Minarets has started. Usually, it is a separate event or combined with other SLE’s. Since there were no SLE’s it was time framed. We have partnered with the Best of the Best awards and we will be doing a pre-show to use all those classes."

As we celebrate and support all those nominated for Best of the Best awards, the audience will also be supporting the Minarets music and band program. Remember, this joint event is on May 9, 2019 at 6pm in the gym.
