On Tuesday, January 14th, Minarets boys soccer had a game up against Fowler High school. The game got off to a fantastic start right from the beginning. The game was exciting, everyone on the field communicated well and the crowd was roaring! As the game progressed, both teams became increasingly more competitive. Varsity Captain Tj McFarland, when asked how he felt before going into the game, stated, “I felt hopeful and confident in my team to play to the best of our ability and have a great game.”

The Minarets boys soccer team scored two goals by players Waylon Smith and Caden Larsen, although it wasn't a winning game they played hard and with determination. The other Varsity Captain, Caden Larsen, when asked what he did to lead the team during the game, explained, “When I'm on the field I'm a big communicator. I feel I lead by talking to my teammates and letting them know where to be.” Which was exactly what we saw throughout this game! Stay tuned to see how they do the rest of this season!
