On August 28th, 2025, the Mustang’s experienced one of the best Club Rush events this school has ever had, with over 15 clubs represented, and Show Band performing some amazing live music. Minarets had over 200 sign-ups, a sign Minarets’ involvement has never been stronger. New clubs like House of Reps, Bible club, and second year clubs like Calvary Gaming, Aviation Club, and Clay Target Club were represented, as well as returning clubs such as FCA, FFA, GSA, Music and many more.
From building relationships and improving leadership skills, joining clubs during Club Rush offers many opportunities that can not only help you in the classroom but also in the real world. For example, House of Representatives, a new club that has combined the ASB team and the FFA team forming one big and strong student body. “Being in a club builds teamwork, leadership and confidence skills that help you succeed not just in the classroom, but in life.” Said Shauna Speak, our Drama Representative.

Another club that students were talking about is the Aviation club, it’s second year at club rush. Within the club, they discuss the history of aviation and how planes fly. They do activities such as making paper airplanes, trivia, and other aviation related activities. “I started this club because I have a large interest in aviation and I thought it could be interesting if I not only learned but also with other people. Any mechanic or math related job can relate to aviation.” Said Wyatt Morgan, Founder of the Aviation club.

In the end, Club Rush wasn’t just about signing up, but building connections and finding new friends with the same interests. By joining a club you open many doors of opportunities in the classroom and in the real world. With that the 2025 Club rush comes to a wrap, see you next year!
