Minarets Media students filled the Media Lounge on Oct. 17. 2019 to showcase the Mustang Minute, which is a video project done by the students to update the school on various events. From 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, different students came in and had their turn in front of the camera while other controlled the three camera.

“In the past we have done some presentations of projects usually students talking about projects like most other teachers do.” media teacher Ortiz said, “I got this idea about three years ago and it was a hit so we decided to keep it going.”

Sophomore Ryan Abner interviewing media teacher Ortiz for the Showcase.

Senior Chris Freeman said, “I chose Mustang Minute because it was an option that not many picked and I also thought it would be a great opportunity for me to define who I am as a person. I like being on camera and this chance to be on film for the school is pretty amazing. I’m going to be talking about the E-Sports tournament and basically what it’s about and when the due date will be coming.”

It is unknown at this time when Mustang Minute will be presented to the public, but hopefully they’ll have it out soon. Many parents got an opportunity to see a sneak preview of the Minarets News Update.
