Dig Pink is an annual volleyball event that supports breast cancer victims everywhere. The entire teams dresses in pink uniforms and covers the school gym in pink decorations to support the fight against cancer! This event gives hope and happiness to people affected by breast cancer. This years Dig Pink game was in honor of Shirley Redman who is the grandma of JV player Brittany Robertson.

The event was Rylee Mackey’s SLE. The event was on Oct. 15 and took place from 5:30 until around 7 when the game ended. The team won the game in 3 exciting sets against Orange Cove. The event was full of liveliness from the audience and there seemed to be support coming from every corner. Right after the second set of the game, Rylee Mackey, said, “I did it because I want to bring more awareness to breast cancer and survivors.”

Dig Pink was fun for all and definitely brought more awareness to breast cancer!
