Facing Success: Celebrating Our Season Together: Minarets High School Honors Volleyball Team at Year-End Banquet

The 2024 volleyball season was a special year for our Minarets Mustangs, especially the seniors. The team had many games, tournaments, and travel during the season, but it ended with awards and a nice dinner for the freshmen, junior, and varsity teams. A senior player for Minarets, Anjalee Sifuentes, when asked how the volleyball season was for the Minarets varsity team, said, “I am very proud of our team. Even though we had our struggles at times, we came together and became a family and kept fighting together.” The varsity team created a bond within the team as well as with the freshmen and junior teams. Coaches from all teams played a huge role in helping the players improve while also having fun. The banquet was a great way to end the 2024 volleyball season for the Minaret Mustangs!

It was a very successful banquet and everyone had a great time. The coaches did an excellent job organizing the banquet, making it very enjoyable for the parents and players. The awards for the athletes were very nice. Sarah Tucker, parent of an athlete, when asked what she thought of the banquet mentioned, “It was a pleasure to see everyone, and to be surrounded by such amazing young ladies. We will miss our role model seniors, but I am looking forward to the new season with another great team.” The banquet allowed everyone to get together as a team one last time and celebrate the season while sharing a meal. The awards were handed out to each athlete and the Banquet was a success! Thank you to all the parents and athletes for your hard work, support and donations of food, drinks, and dessert. Here’s to an amazing volleyball season!
