In a crazy game between Minarets and Fresno Christian, Minarets came out strong by scoring the first goal, leading the match at halftime. However, Fresno Christian turned things around in the second half, scoring four goals to claim a 4-1 victory.

Minarets started the game with confidence. The early momentum was on their side when they managed to score the opening goal. “We felt very confident that we would win the game since we led the first half,” said Shayden Hicks. Their early goal gave them a clear advantage. But the second half told a different story. Fresno Christian came out strong after halftime, capitalizing on mistakes and weaknesses in Minarets’ play. Fresno Christian scored four goals, ultimately winning the victory. When asked what changed during the second half, Shayden reflected on the team's performance. “Our communication and passes were not too good in the second half,” he admitted “ It just wasn't clicking like it was in the first half, and it cost us the game”

Despite the loss, Minarents showed heart in the first half, but the lack of communication in the second half allowed Fresno Christian to take control. This will be a learning experience for Minarets, reflecting on the mistakes while looking ahead to their next season.
