This was the first-ever boys' volleyball game and it was one to remember! With an unfortunate loss against Delano, the boys were just happy that they got to play and make Mustang history. Our middle hitter Logan Davis got us the first-ever lead in the game with an amazing jump serve. Amazing saves were made by James Suehiro, Jabari Gomez, Jack Ellis, and Jaden Gozun.

When asked how he felt going into the game, Jabari Gomez stated, “Why not us? We are a young and new team. We have a learning curve but we are on the right track.”

The boys played hard, made good comebacks, and kept their heads high. They were so happy to be able to play in the first boys' volleyball game in Minarets history. The players, the coaches, and even the crowd were so energetic and proud to say they were able to make history. With such a great beginning, we can't wait to see what is next this season. The next game is on March 27th at Liberty. Don’t miss it!
