On Tuesday, December 10th, boys’ soccer had their first home game against Farmersville. From the first whistle, the game was exciting. The Minarets' defense stood tall, with every player communicating perfectly, while the midfielders hustled to control the pace, pushing forward with determination.

Even though they didn’t get exactly what they wanted, they still played the game with passion and as a team. The stadium was filled with cheer and excitement, supporting the boys’ varsity team. Their plays were excellent and they displayed impeccable teamwork. Varsity player Waylon Smith, when asked what his hopes and goals for this season were, stated, “My hopes and goals for this season are improving from last season and hopefully making it to the playoffs.”

The 2024-25 soccer season has huge intentions to deliver a strong performance this year.
