Intense Rivalry: Dos Palos Outlasts Minarets in a Thrilling Basketball Clash

Tuesday, December 10, included an adrenaline-rushing basketball game played by Minarets High School against Dos Palos. The game was attended by School spirit as well as involved fans which soon created a hype environment. Sprints of excitement and fear were constantly encountered as the score changed from who was in the lead. Although the Minarets Mustangs continued to fight with crisp passes, accurate shots, and beyond-great defensive skill, they were not unbeatable.

Dos Palos accomplished the winning score of 52-57. Both teams kept an intense mindset and followed with smart tactics. The teams were head to head with the score changing every so often. As the game progressed, fans from each side of the court were sitting on the edge of their seats, unsure of who would take home the winning title, until the winning shot was secured. Even though we lost, present support from the Minarets Mustangs ended the game with being proud and elevated from the result of how our team played. The team continued to hold their heads up high knowing they couldn’t have taken part in a more substantial game.  Although the Minarets Mustangs played with passion and unity, it sadly wasn’t enough to beat Dos Palos.
