Is Healthy Here To Stay?

Before the New Year, most people come up with New Year's resolutions, something they want to accomplish by the end of the year. For many, one of their resolutions is to start eating healthier. Now, most people say they're going to, but after a few months, you start to notice they don't really care about that resolution anymore. It's always a struggle trying to eat healthy, but why?

Starting to eat healthy can be very easy, but as time goes on it gets harder and harder for multiple reasons. Many people just don't have the access to be healthy and eat in that way. They think it costs too much money or it's too much work, when in reality it's not that hard. Working out is a huge way to stay healthy and keep the body you're trying to maintain. Most people think you have to go to a gym to work out when, but you don't have to. You can simply look up the type of workout you're looking for online and do it all from home with no cost. You're getting the exercise you need and it's all for free.

For the eating part of a healthy lifestyle, it can be a little more difficult. The main thing you need to do is balance out what you're eating. Having a good meal and an occasional dessert or something sweet is the perfect way to do it. If you want an actual diet, go to a dietitian who can help you pursue the diet you would like safely.

Now the real question is whether it is actually healthy to stay there. People don't keep a healthy mindset for that long because they don't think it's necessary, and it's easier to just give up and people think it's a struggle to keep pursuing it.

Bottom line: you have to find what is best for you, not what other people say you should do. Do what makes you happy, and if that means sticking to a diet and wanting to eat healthy and work out, then do that. If that means wanting to stick to eating not so healthy and living how you want, then that's acceptable as well. It all depends on what you want. If you have the right mindset, go into it and stick with it. Your goal of staying healthy throughout the new year will truly work out in your favor!
