With COVID-19 restrictions beginning to lift, travel is starting to make a comeback and people are eager to get out!
Minarets High School has their own study abroad program, run by social science teacher Kaitlin Morgan, and next summer they are heading to new destinations. The trips are run by Educational Tours, a study abroad company for schools that allows students to see the world and gain life experience.
The first destination for Summer 2022 will be Italy and Greece. On the trip, students will see the amazing architecture and art, try amazing foods, and see ancient temples and coliseums that ancient philosophers and gladiators sparred and fought in. Originally, this tour was supposed to take place this summer, but was postponed due to COVID. For more information or to enroll, you can go here.
On the other side of the world, math teacher Ryan Hansen will be taking a group of students to Australia and New Zealand. They will get to see amazing sights, famous film locations, local cuisines, and the famous Sydney Opera House. This trip has been postponed twice since it was suppose to take place in June of 2020. For more information or to enroll, you can go here.
Both trips are still accepting travelers and will take place in June of 2022. If you would like to sign up, contact Morgan for Italy and Greece or Hansen for Australia and New Zealand for more information!
