Times have changed since the COVID-19 outbreak. School campuses have closed until the next school year and student-run organizations have had to adapt, including Minarets Press. Articles can’t be done the way they were before. In-person interviews can no longer be done, since people aren’t talking face to face anymore. Articles are happening less frequently and deadlines are having to be extended. It may seem like a terrible thing, but is it really?

According to Autumn, “Articles will keep being published regularly! It has been a welcome challenge to think of new stories to cover while the stay at home order is in effect.” These stories have included their special edition coverage of COVID-19 as well as articles coming out this week.

Even though times are tough, Minarets Press will continue to publish articles and keep the community informed. Be sure to check your emails and follow us on social media.
