Mountain's Got Talent

On April 29, 2022, two friends, Jonah Ewalt and Austin Warren, gathered a rag-tag group of individuals to put on a show called Mountain’s Got Talent. This show was held at Minarets High School with the sole purpose of both entertaining the community and helping out the music program.

This show involved a number of musicians, dancers, and performers from all over. Each one with their own unique talents that they wanted to showcase. When it came to the performers, they all had a great time putting on a show and having fun.

Junior Cyrus Joslin, states, “It felt very energizing and fun to perform. I had little to no stage fright and when the crowd started to cheer, I felt even more energized and motivated.”

The performers weren’t the only ones putting on a show, however. During the show, the hosts, Jonah Ewalt and Austin Warren, and the judges, Michael Land, Mikendra McCoy, and Eduardo Rubio, made everyone laugh in between each act.

Another great aspect of the show was the audience. They took part not only in watching the show, but also in some of the acts as well. In the end, the audience had many positive things to say about the show.

Junior Sadie Henderson, says, “I really liked the show. It was very entertaining.”

Some even loved it to the point where they would like to see a show like this happen in the future.

Junior Gabriella Bulgara, explained, “I would like to see a sequel of this show because I would want to see this talent show continue on throughout the years of Minarets. I think the talent show is a great thing and a great subject matter and I would hope that it continues.”

In the end, Mountain’s Got Talent has gone down in Minarets High history as an amazing, one-of-a-kind, show.
