Mustang’s Soccer Season! Minarets Boy’s Soccer

By Tida Sysomboune

Despite this year’s soccer season being tough, the boys worked hard and came strong at the end. Throughout the season, the players took a loss in many games, but their effort and intention on the field didn’t go unnoticed. We had the opportunity to interview a few of the Varsity boys, TJ McFarland, Daniel Stevenson, and Tom Strobl.

The first question they answered was to describe a moment in the season that stood out the most to them. “The Sierra game because we won, and scored the winning goal,” McFarland responded shortly before Stevenson did. “Fresno Christian, it was probably the most fast-paced intense game we’ve had.”

A follow-up question about what hopes they had for next season, McFarland’s response was to win more and grow as a team to hopefully improve. It was evident that they wished to progress more as the year went on, and they were driven as a team to look out for each other.

The entire Minarets community appreciates the hard work and dedication the boys put into this season. Keep up the great work! The school is excited to see future games.
