Coming off last week's game against Fowler game, Mustang Football were ready for their next game. Our boys traveled to Orange Cove for their fifth game of the year against the Titans.

Wide recievers - Colby Moss and Syler Pillsbury line up to run their routes expecting a pass from QB Martin Urroz

It was a close game with Minarets leading all throughout the first half and part of the third quarter. The Titans turned it around with forced fumbles that carried the momentum for scoring.

Sophomore Varsity Quarterback/Runningback Noah Segura explained, “It was a close game we were neck to neck - little mistakes were made costing us 3 big plays. We need to limit those mistakes and execute some good football just like Fowler."

By the fourth quarter Orange Cove was up by seven with the score being 21-10, they scored one more time making it 28. Sadly, our fellow Mustangs came home in defeat with their season record being 3-2.

Throughout the whole game, Minarets did not stop and showed phenomenal effort. In fact, four players were chosen as players of the game: seniors TJ Garner, Martin Urroz, Boston Cisneros, and junior Matthew Sheller. Congratulations for being chosen as players of the game!

Be sure to come out today and cheer on our boys as they play against Parlier!
