Mustangs Take Charge in League Victory

On January 13, 2026, just after 6 p.m., the Varsity Minarets Mustangs girls’ soccer team stepped onto the field ready for league play. As the game began, the Mustangs set the tone early, playing with confidence and energy that carried them to a 3–1 victory over the visiting Fowler Redcats.

Throughout the match, Minarets worked together to maintain possession and apply steady offensive pressure, creating scoring opportunities while limiting Fowler’s chances. On the defensive end, the Mustangs stayed composed and communicative, holding the Redcats to just one goal. In goal, the Minarets goalkeeper made three key saves, turning away Fowler shot attempts and helping preserve the Mustangs’ lead.

The win improved Minarets’ record to 7–4 and reflected the team’s continued growth in Northwest Sequoia League play. Players contributed in every area of the field, staying focused and encouraging one another until the final whistle. Performances like Tuesday’s match highlight the Mustangs’ determination and commitment to improving together as a team.
