If PE classes weren't interesting enough already, quarantine is here to shake things up. Although the coronavirus has put a stop to many school activities, physical education classes are not one of them. With the help of PE teachers Karra Zamora and Jay Smoljan, classes have remained interactive and beneficial.

Minarets sophomore Allison Smith was asked how she stays physically motivated in PE and yoga through online learning. "I stay motivated by knowing that I am doing something beneficial for myself and I am able to get up out of bed," she explained. Even though jogging in place in your bedroom may not be as exhilarating as dodgeball with Smoljan or pilates with Zamora, Minarets students still find a way to persevere and stay motivated during these unprecedented circumstances.
