Purple Ponies Find Their Way on the Soccer Field

The Minarets Girls Soccer team has met the positive standards for their season. The team's games as well as tournaments have embraced not only application and diligence but also unity and passion. Minarets High School has been granted a deeply committed and liable selection of girls, who portray their power and value on the soccer field.


When the Minarets girl’s soccer team is playing, their motivations consist of high-quality appliances as well as ethical motions and enjoyment. The team was capable of best pertaining these factors against Caruthers. A total of three goals were scored by the players Cece Pedersen with one, and Gennie Munoz with two. Although we scored three goals so did Caruthers, but we carried with our controlled passing that hit the wanted marks, containing stopping such as drop kicks, throw-ins, etc, and verbal communication adding on using physical movements to show where to go.

The team’s ratio of wins, from losses to ties, for the league season contains  4 (wins)-5(loses)-1(ties) rather than the overall status being 7-10-3. The team's wins were achieved against Farmersville, San Joaquin Memorial, Sierra, Orange Cove, Riverdale, Parlier, and Coalinga. The team's losses were played against Madera South, Sunnyside, Edison, Immanuel, Liberty, Fowler, Yosemite, Chowchilla, Fresno Christian, and Riverdale. Minarets Girls Soccer attained two ties against Caruthers and one against Chowchilla which ended the season with three ties. Although the record for the 2023 - 2024 season is not ultimate or perfect, the team has no absence for bond, community, and idolization.

The Minarets girl’s soccer team tends to form authentic and genuine friendships through trust and assistance. Each player has intentions of pure actions as well as reactions which are applied both on the field and off. The girls have had each other's backs when necessary and allowed only solid and respected behavior from one another, which has been granted easily. The Minarets girl’s soccer team strives for well-played games and is a connected, and extended family.

Although the Minarets soccer team has many proficient quantities, they developed these from practicing, meaning they were not given. The practices consisted of being the days out of the week that were not planned with games or tournaments. On a regular basis three - four out of the five school days. The length consisted of an hour and a half to an hour and forty-five minutes each. The drills along with training included PK (penalty kick) practice, corner kick practice, offense vs defense, footwork, workouts such as on-the-minute adding on running, pushups, sit-ups, etc. The start of the 2023 - 2024 soccer season included okay skill, yet ended with strong and impressive footwork, kicks, and 1v1 ability.
