The school year is sadly coming to an end, with only 6 weeks left. Sadly all seniors will be leaving the mustang community, to start lives of their own. These seniors can provide an abundance of helpful information for the classes under them. A lot of seniors are doing great things after high school, that we can learn a lot from. Like are Senior Adam Saldivar.
To appreciate how far seniors have come we must reflect on their progress and growth at minarets.
“ Minarets has helped me overcome some of my biggest fears like public speaking,” said Saldivar.
This is a great skill we can learn, that Minarets make sure to instill in us. As most students come in being scared of public speaking, we can all hope to eventually be like Adam. He feels like to get the point of success he is at now he has to face difficult classes, and learn to persevere through them.
As a senior it is sad for some to leave and it is a time to reminisce on all the memories they have made during their time at Minarets. This is a lesson for all of us to get involved in things and take advantage of the opportunities that are provided to us.
“My favorite moments have been the lip-dub and my elective classes,” said Saldivar.
This is time for Minarets seniors to set out their goals, and what they want to be. This can be a hard process to think of what their future selves want and need.
“I want to be financially well and possibly be a physical therapist,” said Saldivar.
Overall as this year comes to an end it's important to look for the future, as well as look back and take in past achievements. Saldivar is a great person to look at when it comes to that, as he has found high school fun.
