The senior we are honoring this week for Stunt is Devinity Calderon. She attends Chawanakee at Minarets. She is a flyer and enjoys it a lot. Her favorite part of stunt is the challenge and support that comes with it. Her biggest inspiration is her dad. She watched him struggle and succeed in life, and there's nothing harder than watching him do it alone. He's shown her that anything can happen depending on how hard you work, and even in those hard times you must choose to be good and kind to others, and you cannot lose yourself within the midst of it. Her advice would be “Keep trying, no matter how discouraged you can get, because it is a bit of a challenge but you should never stop, giving up will not help you, stay strong and keep persevering through it.”
She is in her first year doing Stunt and she joined because she wanted to get out there and try something new. “My favorite part about stunt is how challenging it can be and the support that comes with it. I first started this year so I can try and get out there before I graduate”.
She plans on attending college after high school. She wants to attend Columbia College and wants to live there too. She wants to go to get her doctorate in anesthesiology and major in biology. “I plan on attending and living at Columbia College, I'm planning on getting my doctorate in anesthesiology so I will be majoring in biology so I can get to where I want to be.”
In conclusion, Divinity will be graduating this year and she has put so much hard work and dedication into not only her school work but extracurriculars as well.
