Caitlyn Vaughn embodies someone who is a unique blend of qualities that deciphers her from anywhere she may walk. She is someone who radiates kindness and warmth to those around her. Her sarcastic but kind nature always lifts others. She is honest and insightful and over time gathered her close friends who wholeheartedly agree. Her kindness shines through when she speaks to others and is a huge part of the core of her character.
Coupled with her kindness she is extremely hard working. Her dedication for what she wants is unwavering. She tends to embrace opportunities for growth. Whether it’s school aspects of life or personal life, Caitlyn’s hard work is evident in the focus she puts into the details of her life. She plans to attend Sweet Briar College in the fall for a business major to continue on her path. Caitlyn is unsure of a career but plans to figure it out along the way.
“After graduation, I see myself in college on the other side of the country with my dog and horse hopefully living my best life. I have no idea what I want to do after that but I'll figure it out at some point,” Caitlyn says.
To finish off her senior year and before she ventures off across the country, Caitlyn is currently working on her SLE. A key part of her SLE, Caitlyn has invited the co-owner of Abundant Life Ranch to speak to students in the Minarets ag program about the benefits of equine therapy. Caitlyn wants people to know there is more therapy out there than just talk therapy. “I feel like it's important to bring awareness to the benefits of equine therapy and make more people aware that there is more than just talk therapy out there,” she says.
Caitlyn Vaughn’s overall kindness, hard work, and deep thinking create a remarkable person. Her commitment to her goals is unwavering, and inspires those around her that share similar goals. Caitlyn has worked extremely hard to get to where she is now. She is ecstatic about the next stages of her life and looks back at her time at Minarets with fond memories of friendships and experiences the high school has offered her.
