Every day of the week, Minarets has been having wacky dress up days, from teacher impersonators to wearing old school fashioned clothing. Thursday was Time Travel Day, which meant students and teachers wore clothes from either the past or future. This day was filled with lots of participants because students had many options to choose from and present themselves. As described by math teacher David Elm,“I really like this idea to dress up futuristic or from the past because it adds some character. I really like everyone's costumes, even if I couldn’t do it myself because of time.”
This day gives Minarets some pretty interesting character by having people dress up in all kinds of wacky costumes. Some people dressed as hippies, some dressed as Greasers, and others dressed as pilgrims or war veterans. It was definitely a day to be remembered and it was great to see many in their flashy costumes.
