At Minarets High School, we offer a multitude of classes and activities designed to allow students to explore their creativity and prepare them for college and beyond. However, applying to colleges can cause stress surrounding scholarships and financial aid. With CSF, there is help.
The California Scholarship Federation is an organization created to assist students with college applications and scholarships. Jasmine Olsen, a junior at Minarets and member of Minarets CSF states, “I feel like joining CSF helped me to know about school activities and what goes into keeping a club running”. She also explains how CSF has “helped ease the stress of the processes involved with college, especially applications, a little bit”. Students that remain in CSF for the entirety of their high school career will receive recognition and tassels at their senior graduation, paid for by the proceeds raised through fundraising by the CSF members.
If you or someone you know is interested in CSF and would like to join, or has any additional questions, you can visit Ms. Morgan on the Minarets campus in room 613, or email her at kmorgan@mychawanakee.org.
