Art Club

Do you like art?! Then you’d love the Art Club! The Art Club is run by Mrs. Gamble, who's the head of the art department. Its a club that does fundraisers for art class supplies, facilitates art shows and goes on art related field trips.

Her and the rest of Art Club are always in need of help to put on the annual events, whether that be hands on help or even donations and sponsorships. Students can join Art Club by attending the meetings on odd Mondays during lunch. The good news is, you don’t have to be an artist to be involved in the club, anyone is welcome! Mrs. Gamble described, “hanging out with all the dedicated art students and getting to know them” has been her favorite memory of running Art Club over the years of her being a teacher here at Minarets. The goals for this year are to go on a field trip to the Fresno Art Museum and going to the Mini Makers Faire.

The Art Club is having an upcoming event: the Sierra Art Trails show on September 30 from 10 AM to 4 PM at Minarets High School. At this time, she says there will not be a theme. All art students who attend the event are rewarded with pro points.

Art Club is a very adventurous filled experience that you definitely don’t want to miss! Make sure to attend the next meeting and become a member, it won’t be a decision that you won't regret.
