High School is a time for discovering your strengths and your passions, and finding what sorts of things you enjoy. During this time it is important to seek out ways to get involved in activities, and not only to build your college resume, but to be a part of something fun.
If you are creatively talented, if you take a liking to art, or if you just want to join a cool club, consider joining the Minarets High School Art Club!
The Minarets Art Club is a school organization run by Mrs. Gamble, who has been in charge of Art Club for about four years. There are an estimated twenty members in the club this year, which is much more involvement than previous years. Although the main
focus is creating, obviously they actually do a lot more. The Art Club goes on field trips around the area to different art events such as Just Bisque it. They also put on fundraisers, in which the proceeds go to the Art classes at Minarets to buy supplies for the class.
In fact, there is an upcoming event put on by the club on April 21st. There will be an art show showcasing our students work in Oakhurst, which should be a lot of fun!
Art Club is not only a fun thing to put your time into, but it also helps the Art Program improve and grow.
