Two weeks ago, Minarets took a bus of 60 FFA members to Central High School for our Chapter Exchange Meeting. There, we listened to their business portion of the meeting and then got the opportunity to make valentines for veterans for this upcoming Valentine’s Day.
Members got to mingle and meet new people from the Central Chapter while completing community service by bringing a smile to the face of the receiving veterans. Officer junior Natalie Anselmo said, “It was great to be able to see how other chapters run their meetings and do good for the community at the same time. I sure hope we can do this again.”
Since the chapter had such a great experience with Central, the officers have decided we will be doing a chapter exchange of our own, which is scheduled for Monday, February 12th. Come join us where we will be having a casino night with another chapter.
