Minarets High School now has a new club; one that might just change the world. During the Parkland inspired walk-out, a group to junior girls came together to face the hardcore facts; life is the way it is and it will stay this way unless change is thought of. Gun reform is not the only change we need in this world, and these girls realized there are plenty of causes that need help changing their state of status. The girls in question? Novena Valentine, Samantha Clay, Hannah Flanagan, Natalie Medrano, Amanda Anderson, and MadaLynn Rocha. They created their club for people who want to do good for the community.

People Helping People will help our community and world via community outreach such as volunteering and raising awareness for organizations that the six co-finders see fit. Any who wish to join can! This club requires nothing more than the passion to aid the world. Joining may ignite a spark in your heart or help the flame already placed in your heart to grow. Helping the world around is not a hard job.

Club meetings are every Tuesday in the art room of Minarets. At meetings we will discuss upcoming events to help our community. Events will be decided as a club. Volunteering will be asked of club members. We hope to see you all there!
