Minarets Key Club has proven again and again it’s dedication to public service and a dinner to honor them is much overdue. But is this dinner just to celebrate achievements or is there another reason to gather the Key Club so close to the end of the year? To install the new officers for the 2018/2019 school year. The event was planned by advisors Mr. Vaughan and Mrs. Righter, who look forward to the Installation Dinner as a way to celebrate the new officers and get members excited for the upcoming year.
This dinner did not kick the current officers to the curb; it was a way to honor them as they graduate and can no longer participate in Key Club. Senior Key Club officers were given stoles to wear at graduation and junior Novena Valentine and senior Justin Hough were also recognized by receiving awards for their distinguished service to Key Club. Best of all, everyone celebrated with an ice cream sundae bar.
