See that girl! Watch that scene! Dig in the dancing queen!

Minarets High School Drama Department proudly presented Mamma Mia starring juniors Maddie Wristen and Emma Lynch on November 16 and 17 at the Yosemite Lakes Community Church. The entire cast as well as the audience were literally having the time of their life with the songs of ABBA.

According to drama teacher Kayla West, the play raised over $5,000 and had over 200 people attend on opening night alone. Both the Choreographer Karen Urrutiuz-Polnitz and and Drama teacher West poured their heart and soul into this play and the people casted in it.

Overall the play was a complete success and the cast has heard nothing but wonderful feedback! Now everyone is eagerly awaiting to see what the Drama Department will be putting on in the Spring!

Thank you to everybody who came out to support our Minarets Drama program and to everybody who donated to make this play happen.

Don’t forget to congratulate the cast of Mamma Mia on their amazing performances!
