Who says video games aren't a sport?

For the first time ever, Minarets High School will be offering our very own Esports Team. Esports is a multiplayer video game played competitively for spectators and already exists at multiple high school.

Although the team is still in the works, it is already being advertised and looking for players. The team will be operated by our very own media teacher Juan Ortiz with help of history teacher Ben Regonini. According to our anonymous source, "I think it is great that Minarets is expanding their horizons instead of having strictly physical sports. I am very excited to join the team and see where it takes me".

If you or a friend are interested in joining the Esports team feel free to email Ortiz or talk to him outside of class. Good luck Mustangs!
