A Bright Start: Class of 2026 Unites at Senior Sunrise

On the early morning of August 22, 2025, the Minarets practice football field was transformed into a warm and welcoming space as the Class of 2026 gathered for the highly anticipated Senior Sunrise. With cozy blankets, cameras in hand, and custom senior attire, students came together to mark the beginning of their final year in style.

Spearheaded by Cassimira Coffman and Cheyenne Barton, this year’s Senior Sunrise offered more than just beautiful views and breakfast treats. It created lasting memories that the senior class will carry with them long after graduation.

“It’s been a fun experience to put together,” said Cheyenne Barton, one of the event's organizers. “We’ve talked to all the parents about getting donations and planning it all out. I think it went pretty well, and I can’t wait for Senior Sunset to come around and get to do it again.”

From personalized jeans to handcrafted photo frames, many seniors embraced the opportunity to express themselves and celebrate their unique identities within the class. The event captured both the spirit of tradition and the excitement of a fresh start, offering the perfect setting for reflection, connection, and of course, great photos.

As the sun rose over the foothills, so did the energy and unity of the senior class. If the morning was any indication, the Class of 2026 is well on its way to making this year unforgettable.
