Halloween spirit sweeps the halls

It’s Halloween night, and even though the school day is over, the excitement from earlier still lingers. You could feel the energy the second you walked into Minarets this morning. The hallways were packed with people in costume, superheroes, ghosts, football players, princesses, and even a few teachers dressed as zombies. Everyone was laughing, taking pictures, and comparing outfits. It was one of those rare days where school didn’t even feel like school.

So, why do we dress up for Halloween? It all started long ago, when people wore costumes to scare away bad spirits. But now, it’s all about fun and creativity. And at Minarets, with our Six C’s, one of them being Creativity, our Stangs definitely lived up to it!

Dressing up at school brings everyone together, from the costume contest and music at lunch to the nonstop pictures for the yearbook. Halloween at Minarets isn’t just a holiday; it’s an experience. For one day, everyone gets to make memories that will last far beyond October 31st.
